Swimming: Mysuru boy selected for South Zone Nationals

Mohammed Arman Sameer has secured 2 silver medals each in 50m and 100m breaststroke (group 3) of XXII State Short Course Swimming Championship conducted by Karnataka Swimming Association in Udupi from Dec. 7 to 10.

With this win, he is qualified for South Zone Nationals to be held in Bengaluru from Dec. 27.

From Mysuru, he is the only one to get medals and get qualified for Nationals.

He is practising in BSRC pool, Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru, under coach V. Pranav. A Class 5 student of Kautilya Vidyalaya, Mysuru, he is the son of M.N. Sameer Ahmad and Misbah Amreen, residents of Udayagiri.
